My therapist called me out the other day. 

And I'm happy for it. 

She said, Do you realize you're not allowing yourself to feel these emotions?

And I thought for a second. 

A little pissed off. 

But she was right. 

I'm good at recognizing my emotions. 

Any and all of 'em. 

But I don't want to feel some of them. 

Sadness and fear are pretty much the main ones. 

And as a result, I'm not processing them and working through them. 

We all know what's going to happen if we avoid them. 

Oh yeah, she also told me I was really good at avoidance. 

This therapist is good.
