Shari Botwin, LCSW opened her Cherry Hill private practice in 1996. Prior to starting her own practice Shari worked at the Renfrew Center in Philadelphia. She provides individual, group and family therapy with a specialization in treating trauma, abuse, eating disorders, anxiety and depression. Shari also provides virtual individual and family teletherapy using a HIPPA approved telemedicine platform. Shari holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. Her second book, Thriving After Trauma: Stories of Living and Healing, released worldwide November 4, 2019. The updated paperback edition released on October 11, 2021. (Rowman and Littlefield).

 A day before the COVID lockdown Botwin was scheduled to speak on a panel with Judge Rosemarie Aquilina and journalist Abigail Pesta at The Wing in NYC. Tickets sold out within an hour after the event was released to members of The Wing in NYC.  Botwin has been called upon to comment on COVID and PTSD for a variety of international media outlets. She has made feature live and taped appearances on The Today Show, NBC Nightly News, MSNBC, NBC News Now, CTV, ABC News, Quibi, Stay Tuned, and a variety of podcasts. Botwin has conducted webinars and live zoom outreach for the public addressing how to manage with all the challenges as our world has turned upside down.
