How to Share Your Work with MEDIA+
What excites me about the work I do, which is supporting therapists of all kinds, is this:
It’s that you and me and everyone else in this world gets to be none other than who we are.
That’s it!
That excites me because it’s this exact element which enables us to connect with one another.
Yes, our stories might be different.
Our experiences may be unique.
Sure, there might be some overlap between us here and there, but it’s how we interpret our experiences and what we do with our story that lends to our uniqueness.
Many of us, though, spend a lot of time (hand raise) and energy (another hand raise) trying to avoid our story, trying to run from our experiences, our traumas, and we do this in order to be someone else.
Or at least what we would consider to be a better version of ourselves.
It’s when we begin confronting it, examining it, dealing with, and then owning who we are, with all the hills and valleys and ups and downs included, that we’re able to trust and honor ourselves.
I’ve spent a lot of time running in circles trying to avoid certain parts of me.
It gets old. It get tiring.
My name is Guy Macpherson, PhD. I’m host of The Trauma Therapist Podcast and founder of The Trauma Therapist Project.
What I want to do now is inspire others to be who they are and to share who they are.
This always sounds so simple. And easy.
But it’s how we connect.
I see you. You see me.
It’s what I do with my podcast guests every day.
I’d like to invite you to share who you are. Whatever you’d like to share.
This is what we’re doing with our MEDIA+ clients.
Through MEDIA+ we’re working to help incredible therapists share their work, and reach the people who want and need to learn about them.
If you’re passionate about the work you’re doing, then I’d love to work with you.
