Alisa is a storyteller, writer, facilitator and childhood sexual abuse survivor. Her work focuses on offering emotional support to other young survivors healing from sexual trauma.
Alisa is a MothStorySLAM Competition champ and has been in publications such as Allure, Teen Vogue, BUST, TIME, The Guardian, Bustle, Thought Catalog, Oprah Winfrey Network, Hello Giggles, Brit+Co, and the Voices for Change 2.0 podcast. While based in DC, she travels around the country giving talks and facilitating workshops to support other young survivors in their communities.
