My name is Guy Macpherson, PhD. I am founder of The Trauma Therapist Project and host of The Trauma Therapist | Podcast which is now being listened to in 160+ countries around the world, and downloaded thousands of times per month (and growing).
On the podcast I interview trauma workers, thought leaders, and game changers in the fields of trauma, mindfulness, yoga, addiction, and related fields, with the goals of raising the awareness of trauma and inspiring other therapists.Much of my inspiration for doing this podcast comes from my family.
As the son of a Korean War veteran, and the brother of a Navy SEAL who returned from Iraq with PTSD, my goals are to help spread the awareness of trauma and PTSD, as well as to help educate, support, and inspire new trauma therapists.

The interviews will take place on Riverside audio and/video.
How long will the call take?:
I am requesting about 35 minutes of your time.

The interview is casual.
I’m curious about you—how you got into this field, how you came to work with those who’ve been impacted by trauma, and what inspires and drives you!
I’ll be digging for details not just generalities.

As you know, sound quality is crucial for audio podcasts. A few good options:

It works best if you have light in front of you or off to the side. Backlight will usually wash your image out.
